This is one for the dads to read to their kids as both dad and daughter go off on a treasure hunting adventure. Dad is slightly stereotyped if I’m honest, but the story is about coming together and realising that life is richer when the journey is shared. The illustrations are very engaging with some nice feature pictures at key moments in the story. This hardback edition has also been well produced and features a lovely texture applied to the cover.
