Book review – Ori’s Stars

Ori’s Stars by Kristyna Litten

This is a lovely book and I’ll say straight off that I’m really drawn to the artistic style.

It’s essentially a simple tale of Ori, a lonely child like character that lives out in space. Ori discovers that she possess a wonderful ability and can create stars, who soon discovers that she is not as alone as she thought she was.

The illustrative style I mentioned, has a lovely rough drawn quality in paces. In many ways simple, yet beautifully imagined and realised.

Like all starry type stories, this really lends itself to bedtime reading and is quite touching.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your nice comment. With a bewildering amount of choice in children’s picture books, the site is intended to act as a bit of a guide, so hopefully there is something for everyone as you say!

    Regards
    David
