Boor review – Lights on Cotton Rock

Lights on Cotton Rock by David Litchfield.

I don’t think I’ve reviewed an alien themed book in a while and this is a nice one to check out.

A little girl wants to go into space having heard all about alien abductions. Yes I know! It all works out well though and the story comes across as a mix of ‘E.T’ and ‘Close Encounters’

The illustrations are glorious and I loved them. The dark nights and spaceship light creating plenty of mood and interest. In fact this book relies heavily on the illustration’s with many pages having no text at all.

Overall it’s very nice, especially for the illustrations
