The Wonder Tree by Teresa Heapy and Izzy Burton
This is definitely a cuddling up at bedtime story with Mummy or Daddy, which follows a lovely little conversation between a mother owl and her baby.
This story concerns the tree that the owls live in and why it is so perfect as a home. Mother owls explanations are all very reassuring to the little one.
The illustrations are quite punchy and colourful. I’ve seen a similar style used by Disney for their spin off stories, packaging and so on. There is also lots of lovely detail and other animals to spot so it’s great fun.
This book is full of charm and you really can’t go wrong here. Also it’s perfect for owl lovers like me!
