This one will really get the kids interest. This is a fun story of one pea’s bid for freedom as he pings off the dinner plate. The resulting chain reaction of events sees him getting into a variety of tricky situations, but how will he end up? Of course I’m not going to spoil that for you!
I really liked the roughness of the illustrations and the expressions on the pea’s face as he pings about the place. There’s a child like simplicity to it and to top it all off it rhymes beautifully too.
If you just want to read to your child a silly, fun story then you could do worse than this one!
